Lyrically, Peter has been inspired primarily by folk musicians and early R&B artists, such as Leonard Cohen and James Taylor. The concepts of his albums are inspired by a number of different social issues, such as homelessness, hospices, special needs children, global warming and early rock ‘n’ roll. Peter has released a number of albums over the years that combine these influences and inspirations in authentic and poetic ways. These include Halloween Elvis (2000),PH Tracy & The Animal Band (2006), PH Tracy’s Favorite Elvis Tunes (2007), Loving Words (2008), Back to the 50’s (2008), Help (2009), PH Tracy Tunes (2011), and RockNRoll Child (2023).
